Florida’s Zone 3 team (Justin Daniels, Grant Ganzi, Juancito Bollini and Wesley

Finlayson) showed their class in the inaugural NYTS National Championship hosted

by Maureen Brennan’s VIP Polo in Upperville, Virginia Saturday morning after spotting

Zone 4 (Wyatt Harlow, Marissa Wells, Johann Colloredo-Mansfield and Simon

Colloredo-Mansfield) 2.5 goals to start and riding away with the win that boosts them

into the tournament finals.

Zone 3 got two goals apiece from Juancito Bollini and Wesley Finlayson in the first half

to lead, 4 to 3.5 while getting excellent defensive support from teammates Grant Ganzi

and Justin Daniels.

Bollini added two more goals in the second half and Daniels chipped in a goal as Zone

3 rode on to score a 7 to 3.5 goal victory.

In the second match of the day a strong Zone 2 team (Andrew Begg, Pierce Alworth,

Agustin Arellano and Wesley Bryan hammered the Zone 1 entry (Liam Lott, Austin

Finch, Russell Stimmel and Loretto Natividad) 12 to 4.5.

Every member of the team got on the scoreboard in the opening chukker as they put up

four goals. Zone 2 stretched the lead to 7 to 2.5 by halftime and rode on to register a

humbling 12 to 4.5 win.

The championship match between Zone 3 and Zone 2 is scheduled to be played on at

noon on Sunday.

The consolation match for third place between Zone 4 and Zone 1 is scheduled for 10

am.
